We don't have a name and there is no wrong way to say DD/MM/YYYY. Day Month Year, Demon Theatre, Dave Munthier, and the actual current day, month and year (e.g. 31/10/2008) are all acceptable. We have dug our roots into bamboo forests, living rooms, sushi joints, landfills, beaches and swimming pools - but often leave our sanctuary to bring these experiences to any larger venue & festival that'll have us.
We have supported every release with incessant, warrior-like, touring. On the horizon is a 4-week European tour (fall '08) - booked by Summery Agency & Paper and Iron Booking Co.
In spring '08, a 2-month North American tour included a multitude of dates with Crystal Castles & Video Hippos and saw us crossing paths with Diplo, The Mae-Shi & No Age. Along the way, we inherited Leafy Green Booking as our exclusive US booking agency.
Our previous North American tour, bearing the same longevity, had us paired with Brooklyn's Japanther & included dates with the likes of Matt & Kim, Dan Deacon, Parts & Labour and Mika Miko.

The months leading up to tour are spent writing, recording, silkscreening, postering, practicing &, most importantly, taking all worthwhile opportunities as they arise - [anything from CBC Radio 3 recording sessions to supporting Kid Koala at Osheaga Music Festival (Montreal).] |
